About Hagzan Travel

I travel. A lot. Sometimes to places people dream about visiting, and sometimes to places people have to Google. Hagzan Travel is where I share where I went, what I saw, what was worth it, what wasn’t, and the occasional “what the hell was I thinking?” Along the way, I’ll share my photography, practical advice, and what I wish I’d known before I got there. And, of course, I make a point of sampling the local cuisine (beer).

About Me

Originally from New York now currently residing in Virginia. I spent 28 years in the Army and another 13½ years working for a nonprofit that helps Soldiers and their families. I love to travel and will go pretty much anywhere – especially if I haven’t been there before. I make all my own travel arrangements, don’t spend hours hunting for the absolute cheapest deal, and generally just go with the flow. Sometimes it works perfectly. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, I have a good time.
